Product Description

Sendust Core , is manufactured from an alloy containing approximately 85%Fe, 9% Si, and 6% Al. It offers significantly lower core loss than conventional iron powder cores, a high saturation flux density of up to 10,500 Gauss, and near-zero magnetostriction, making it ideal for low-noise power magnetic applications.Unlike bonded powder materials, FeSiAl cores are manufactured without organic binders, eliminating thermal aging issues and enabling continuous operation at temperatures up to 200°C. Available in permeabilities from 26μ to 125μ and a wide variety of shapes, including toroidal, U-core, E-core, and block cores , the KS Series is an excellent choice for PFC inductors, pulse transformers, energy storage inductors, output filter inductors, and EMI noise filters.

FAQ

Q: Why choose Sendust cores over iron powder cores?

A: Sendust cores offer significantly lower core losses than iron powder cores, near zero magnetostriction for quieter operation, and higher saturation flux density (10,500 Gauss) , making them ideal for high-efficiency power applications.

Q: What permeability values are available?

A: SHINHOM Sendust cores are available in permeability ranges from 26μ to 125μ, including 26μ, 35μ, 40μ, 60μ, 75μ, 90μ, and 125μ options to meet different application needs.

Q: What is the operating temperature range for Sendust cores?

A: The standard operating temperature range is -65°C to +125°C. Because they are manufactured without organic adhesives, they have no thermal aging issues and can be used for extended periods at temperatures up to 200°C.

Q: What shapes are available?

A: Sendust cores are available in multiple shapes including toroidal, U-core, E-core, and block type to suit various mounting and design requirements.
