ACST Series PCB Mount Miniature small DC Immune Current Transformer, CT,Current transformer Manufacturer
The ACST series miniature PCB-mount high-frequency current transformer is designed for high-frequency current sensing, energy metering, and power monitoring applications. Rated current is up to 50A.Four standard turns ratio options are available: 1:50, 1:100, 1:200, and 1:300 (center-tap CT versions also available). Operating frequency range is 1kHz to 1MHz.The product uses a toroidal core and low-profile design. It is mounted directly on the PCB. The housing is made of PBT 94V0 flame-retardant material with epoxy filling, ensuring stable and reliable structure. The DC immune feature ensures accuracy in current sensing applications that contain DC components.Insulation resistance: ≥100MΩ (500V DC) . Withstand voltage test: 4000V/1mA/60 seconds. It is widely used in AC/DC and DC-DC converters, energy meters, power transmitters, high-frequency current control circuits, and pulse current testing.

FAQ
Q: What turns ratio options are available for the ACST series? What is the difference between models with the CT suffix?
A: The ACST series offers four standard turns ratio options: 1:50, 1:100, 1:200, and 1:300. Models with the CT suffix (e.g., 1:50CT) indicate that the secondary winding has a center tap. This is suitable for push-pull drives or differential signal acquisition circuits that require a center tap. Models without the CT suffix are standard two-wire secondary outputs.
Q: What is the significance of the DC immune feature?
A: The DC immune feature means the current transformer maintains accuracy when measuring AC current with DC bias components. It prevents core saturation caused by DC components. This feature is especially important in AC/DC converters, battery charge/discharge current monitoring, and pulse current testing with DC bias.
